It's a misconception that all of this money goes to Princess Margaret Hospital.  In fact, there are three major beneficiaries and around twenty other beneficiaries each year, depending on which grants the Channel Seven Telethon Trust trustees decide to spread the money. 

The three main beneficiaries each year are Telethon Institute for Child Health Research, Princess Margaret Hospital and Telethon Speech & Hearing Centre.

As a result of the generosity of the Western Australian public, Telethon enables many different children's charities and organistations the chance to improve equipment and services - which makes life better for our children.
